Welcome to SweetiePost Ltd (“SweetiePost”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website (www.sweetiepost.com) and the purchase of our personalised chocolate gift boxes. By accessing or ordering from our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- "Customer" means you, the individual or entity ordering products from our site.
- "Goods" means the personalised chocolate gift boxes and related items offered for sale on our site.
- "Services" refers to the sale, processing, delivery, and any related services provided by SweetiePost.
- "Website" refers to www.sweetiepost.com or any subdomain thereof.
2. Applicability
These Terms apply to all orders placed by Customers through our Website. They supersede any prior agreements or representations.
3. Ordering & Contract Formation
- Order Process: Select Goods, provide personalisation details, and proceed to checkout. You will receive an order confirmation email summarising your order.
- Contract Formation: A binding contract is formed when we send the dispatch confirmation email, not when you receive the order confirmation.
- Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders for reasons including unavailability of Goods, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
4. Pricing & Payment
- Prices: All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT. Delivery charges, if any, will be shown at checkout.
- Payment: Payments are processed via Lightspeed Payments. See our Payment Policy for details.
- Pricing Errors: If a pricing error occurs, we will notify you. You may choose to reconfirm or cancel your order.
5. Personalisation & Custom Goods
- Accuracy: You are responsible for ensuring all personalisation details (e.g., messages) are accurate. SweetiePost is not liable for errors you submit.
- Exclusions: Personalised Goods are bespoke and cannot be returned for change of mind.
6. Cancellation & Returns
- Cancellation: You may cancel within 30 minutes of placing your order by emailing info@sweetiepost.com. After this window, cancellation is not available.
- Returns: Due to the bespoke and perishable nature of Goods, we do not accept returns for change of mind. Faulty or incorrect items are handled under our Returns & Refunds Policy.
7. Delivery
- Shipping: We ship within the UK via Royal Mail 24. See our Shipping Policy for details.
- Delivery Attempts: We are not responsible for failed delivery due to incorrect address.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
- Ownership: All content on the Website, including text, graphics, logos, and designs, is our property or licensed to us.
- Use Restrictions: You may view and print pages for personal use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise content without our express permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Exclusions: Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
- Cap on Liability: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the price paid by you for the relevant Goods or Services.
- Indirect Loss: We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss.

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including strikes, natural disasters, or transport disruptions.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by English law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Payment Policy

SweetiePost Ltd (“SweetiePost”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses Lightspeed Payments to securely process all transactions on our UK-based website. This Payment Policy outlines the payment methods we accept, security measures, transaction timing, fees, and refund procedures relevant to SweetiePost customers.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment options via Lightspeed Payments:
- Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Discover, Diners Club International, China UnionPay
- Digital Wallets: Google Pay, Apple Pay
- Subscriptions: Recurring payments for ongoing gift box deliveries (cancel anytime)
2. Payment Security
- All transactions are handled by Lightspeed Payments, a PCI DSS-compliant provider.
- SSL encryption protects your payment data during transmission.
- We do not store your card details on our servers; all sensitive information is processed by Lightspeed Payments.
- Billing address verification is required to help prevent fraud and is auto-filled with your delivery address by default.
3. Transaction Timing & Payouts
- Payments are authorised and captured immediately at checkout to secure your order.
- Funds (after processing fees) are deposited into our account by Lightspeed Payments within one business day.
5. Refunds & Disputes
- Refunds for cancelled or eligible orders are processed to the original payment method. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
- Refunds are issued within 7 business days of approval; funds may take up to 14 days to appear, depending on your bank.
- In case of disputes or chargebacks, we will cooperate fully with Lightspeed Payments and provide any necessary information.
