SweetiePost Ltd (“SweetiePost”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to delivering your personalised gift boxes quickly and reliably across the United Kingdom. This Shipping Policy outlines our delivery methods, timeframes, costs, and procedures for handling delivery issues.
1. Delivery Methods & Carriers
- Primary Carrier: Royal Mail 24 (Next working day delivery)
- Dispatch Cut‑off Time: Orders placed before 2:00 pm (Monday – Friday, excluding UK public holidays) will be dispatched on the same business day.
- Weekend Orders: Orders placed after 2:00 pm on Friday, or over the weekend, will be dispatched on the next working day (Monday, excluding public holidays).
2. Delivery Timeframes
- Royal Mail 24: 1–2 working days from dispatch
- Dispatch Processing: Allow up to 24 hours for order processing during high-volume periods (e.g. sales, seasonal peaks).
Please note: Royal Mail 24 is not a guaranteed next-day service, but most parcels arrive within 1–2 working days.
3. Shipping Costs
- Free UK Delivery: We offer free standard delivery via Royal Mail 24 on all UK orders.
4. Order Tracking
- Tracking Availability: Royal Mail 24 does not automatically include tracking details for all parcels. If you require tracking, please contact us at info@sweetiepost.com before placing your order, and we will arrange a tracked service (additional charges may apply).
- Delivery Confirmation: You will receive an email notification once your order has been dispatched. If tracking is provided, the tracking link will be included in this email.
5. Delivery Address Accuracy
- Customer Responsibility: Please ensure the delivery address entered at checkout is complete and accurate. We cannot be held responsible for parcels lost or delayed due to incorrect address details.
- Address Amendments: If you need to amend the delivery address after placing your order, email info@sweetiepost.com as soon as possible. We cannot always guarantee changes once the order is in the dispatch process.
6. Failed Deliveries & Redelivery
- Royal Mail Attempts: Royal Mail will attempt delivery once. If no one is available, they may leave a 'Something for You' card and take the parcel to a local delivery office.
- Customer Action: Follow the instructions on the card to collect your parcel or schedule a re-delivery directly with Royal Mail.
- Uncollected Parcels: If a parcel is returned to SweetiePost due to non-collection or an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional shipping charges may apply.
7. Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Items
- Inspection: Please inspect your delivery upon arrival. If you notice any damage to the packaging or items, photograph the damage immediately.
- Reporting Issues: Email info@sweetiepost.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and supporting photographs.
- Resolution: We will investigate and offer a replacement, refund, or alternative solution in line with our Refund & Returns Policy.
8. International Shipping
- Currently, SweetiePost only ships within mainland United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland). We do not offer international delivery at this time.
